Kirkbampton Online was an idea I had from college work, and it has just grown from a site which I edited and publish in a number of program these where Microsoft Publishers, Microsoft Word and FrontPage Express. I won Web Site of the Week on BBC Radio Cumbria, in October. which was a way to highlight the work webmaster putting in to a site for little or no reward at the need of the day, all i can say is you need time, time and a good memory, or and you need to have a basic knowledge how the internet works.
Early this year in March I decide the site need to be re-designed and more information to be added, so I tested a number of programs and finally bought HoTMetaL Pro Version 6.0, which is a web, edited software, which I edit, publish and validate all my document for errors in the HTML code to make sure that there are no errors in the html code or which every code i am using. This year has seen a lot of new section added to Kirkbampton Online, which includes, Copyright and disclaimer, Guest Book and the Foot & Mouth section, which i added in the height on the foot and mouth epidemic. I am currently receiving around approximately 125 hits per month for all over the world even as far a way a Taiwan, China and Canada and the United Kingdom. This year Kirkbampton Online has won a golden web award for the first time, which is rated on design and content you can see the award I won on the Award Won page.
This year i am redesign the web site and hope that this is the finally redesign this year due to other commitments. I have also won the Golden Web Award for the second year running and the award can be seen on the Awards Won page.
